Vilabertran filled apple

  • tres pomes de relleno de vilabertran en un plat

These typical deserts from the Empordà are most popular in the August and September festivals. Centuries ago, in Vilabertran it was traditional to eat filled apples mid-way through dances. Many people from the surrounding area would go to Vilabertran specially to enjoy these exquisite desserts.
