  The following itinerary is a medium-difficulty circular route that enables you to enjoy a view of the magnificent Empordà plain and also a small part of the coast. The route starts in Torroella de Montgrí, passing through fields, La Bisbal d’Empordà, which is famous for its pottery, Flaçà, Verges, Sant Pere Pescador and l’Escala, which is a town with spectaculars Greco-Roman ruins overlooking the beach. It finishes back in Torroella de Montgrí. All of the roads are secondary with little traffic.
