  The Tour of the Gavarres itinerary is a circular route that starts in the municipality of Calonge. The route passes through various towns and villages like la Bisbal d’Empordà, Monells, Coll dels Àngels, Llagostera, Romanyà, La Ganga and Alt de Puig d’Arques, known for being the highest peak in the Gavarres.  (It is important to note that this route is very hard. It has a lot of climbing and goes over the most notable passes in the Gavarres.)
