The objectives of the Tourism Area of the Regional Council of the Baix Empordà include supporting tourism companies and improving business competitiveness based on a strategy of public–private cooperation and encouraging private-sector participation in projects that add value to the destination. Accordingly, it offers a variety of services to businesses.
