This route offers a trip through the southeastern half of the region. The route takes you through Les Gavarres Massif from one end to the other, passing through the splendid holm oak and cork oak forests. The starting point for this route is La Bisbal d'Empordà, the capital of the region and a municipality that is sheltered by Les Gavarres Massif. The route has some panoramic views as the stopping places proposed offer the most mountainous views of the region.
