Fitor

  • Església de fitor al fons i un noi amb bicicleta btt que hi va arribant

Fitor is an oasis in the Gavarres. A wide open space emerging from among trees and presided over by the church of Santa Coloma de Fitor. This structure of Romanesque origins is accompanied by the rectory building, which has now been converted into a small and simple reception point. Around it, there are green areas and spaces for resting, with some dolmens and other megaliths.

This site is an emblematic space in the region, and can be accessed from Mont-ras, Sant Climent de Peralta and Fonteta. You can get here by car from these centres of population, but it is important to take into account the type of car as you will be using forest tracks and their surfaces may not always be in the best condition.

You can get here from Fonteta on the PR-104 path. There are also mountain bike (MTB) routes that pass by it. This is the case of routes 25, 26 and 27.
