Cova d’en Daina and Puig d’Arques

  • Dolmen de la cova d'en Daina. Santa Cristina d'Aro

The town of Romanyà de la Selva belongs to Santa Cristina d’Aro. It is easy to access by car. From here you can discover two distinctive spots in the Gavarres mountains.

A few metres from the town, alongside the road that leads to Calonge, is the Cova d’en Daina, a megalitihic monument that is noteworthy for its size.  You can also get here from Romanyà following the GR-92.1 path or a signposted local itinerary.

Puig d’Arques is a peak located in the middle of the massif. Although it is not the highest point in the massif, which is at 537 metres, the dolmen of Puig d’Arques at 532 metres symbolically crowns this space and has also been turned into a spectacular viewpoint. To access it, from Romanyà, follow the GR-92.1, although you can also get close to it by car.
