Tourism entrepreneurship and consolidation

The Tourism Area of the Regional Council of the Baix Empordà offers the Entrepreneurship and Tourism Consolidation service to provide support and assistance to people who want to set up a business in a tourism setting.
Its main objective is to boost the entrepreneurial spirit, promote business culture and also foster actions to create, grow and consolidate new businesses in the region. In particular, it provides support for initiatives linked to tourism activities, such as managing rural accommodation or dwellings for tourist use, catering businesses or transport and also all types of commercial and recreational activities and services for people
directly or indirectly linked to tourism.
The principal services are:
- Information and guidance about procedures, services and resources.
- Market studies and studies of the tourism area.
- Advice on evaluating and preparing company plans, ideas, business plans and feasibility plans.
- Consolidation of emerging projects based on participation in tourism projects in the region.
This line of specialisation complements the Espai empresa service offered by the Economic Promotion Area of the regional council.
