Eleven municipalities in the Baix Empord\u00e0 are located in the area around this well-known river that enters the Baix Empord\u00e0 near Foix\u00e0 and Colomers. From here, you can follow the course of the river through Jafre, Verges, Canet de la Tallada (La Tallada d\u2019Empord\u00e0, Ull\u00e0 and Torroella de Montgr\u00ed).<\/p>\n
This stretch of the route in the Baix Empord\u00e0 can easily be done by bike, following the signs for the Ter Route or for the Baix Empord\u00e0\u2019s Cycle Touring Network. Elements of the water heritage as well as apple orchards and small market gardens en route make this route especially pleasant.<\/p>\n
